ASGAuto Ship Genius

How it works

Every other car shipping "comparison" site is a lead-resale operation. You type in your details, they sell them to a broker network, and the phone calls start. We built the opposite.

1. We collect prices, not your contact info

We pull prices from broker calculators and public data on a slow, weekly cadence, then store them. When you look up a route, you are reading our database. We never send a quote request upstream on your behalf, and we never ask for your phone number or email to show you a number.

2. Every price is labeled by where it came from

A price is one of three things, and we always say which:
  • Live quote: pulled straight from a broker's own calculator, with no contact info required.
  • Modeled estimate: our own per-mile model for routes we have not sampled live. It is math, not a live quote, and we label it that way.
  • uShip actual: a price someone actually paid for a comparable move.

3. We flag who demands your phone number

Some brokers show an instant price with nothing but a ZIP code. Others demand a phone number before they quote, which is where the spam comes from. We label that on every broker, because the anti-spam filter is a feature worth knowing about before you click.

4. Affiliate links fire only when you click

We earn a commission on some outbound broker links. Those links only ever fire when you choose to click through, and they never change the prices you see or the order brokers are ranked in. Ranking is by price, lowest first.
